Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Ark Spawn Commands (“ASC”, “we”, “us”) processes information when you use our
Discord bot and companion website. ASC is operated under the CodeWorx brand.
2. Information We Process
We process only what is reasonably necessary to operate the service and deliver generated output. This may include:
- Discord server (guild) identifiers: used for server-scoped configuration such as presets.
- Command inputs you provide: values submitted via slash commands (e.g., creature selection, levels, colors, stats).
- Preset configuration data: preset names and settings saved for a server if enabled by server admins.
- Generated command output: files created by the bot (for example, custom cave outputs) so the viewer link can display them.
- Basic web request metadata: standard server logs may include IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URL for security and reliability.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to provide names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information to use ASC.
We do not sell personal data.
4. How We Use Information
- To generate ARK administrative commands and present them in Discord.
- To store and retrieve server-scoped presets created by administrators or authorized users (if applicable).
- To display generated output in the viewer when a valid link is opened.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot reliability issues.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your information. We may disclose limited information only when necessary:
- Service providers: hosting/network providers that help run the service may process limited technical data.
- Legal obligations: if required by law or valid legal process.
6. Data Retention
- Presets: retained until deleted by a server administrator or until the service is discontinued.
- Generated command files: kept to keep links functional; may be deleted periodically to manage storage and risk.
- Server logs: if retained, kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
7. Your Choices and Requests
Most stored information is server-scoped (e.g., presets). Server administrators typically control what is stored.
